Growing demand for Seacroft’s services means we have immediate opportunities for experienced Mariners to join our list of approved marine consultants contracted on an ad hoc basis to conduct trials, inspections and other client representation and assurance work on vessels operating in the offshore industry and other sectors predominantly from Aberdeen, Great Yarmouth and Lerwick.
Applicants should hold a Master Mariner or Chief Mate’s certificate of competency and, due to the ad hoc/day rate nature of these short projects, should be resident within commuting distance of one of the three aforementioned ports with the flexibility to accommodate possible weekend as well as weekday assignments.

A significant upturn in our clients’ offshore support vessel charters and mobilisations means Seacroft Marine have opportunities for accredited OVID and/or accredited CMID inspectors for immediate ad hoc consultancy assignments in the Aberdeen, Shetland & Gt Yarmouth areas.
Seacroft Marine is a leading provider of marine assurance services to the offshore oil/gas and renewables sectors. In line with market recovery, the company is embarked on a period of growth and, while the immediate vacancies are ad hoc, it is anticipated that some of these roles will become available as permanent staff positions during the current year.

DP & Marine Engineering Specialists (Full-time / ad hoc)
To deliver high calibre Dynamic Positioning Engineering Consultancy services to our growing portfolio of marine clients, Seacroft are currently recruiting DP & Marine Engineering Specialists for both full time and ad hoc roles.
Candidates will require, as a minimum, a Marine Engineer or Electrical-Technical Officer’s (ETO) certificate of competently or suitable degree level qualification with at least 3 year’s experience working with dynamic positioning systems.
In addition your core responsibility for planning and conducting DP vessel inspections and trials, you will have the opportunity to assist in the development and review of client DP policies, procedures and FMEAs, and will contribute to DP incident investigations. Competence to conduct OVID/CMID inspections would be a significant advantage.
Full time roles will be staff positions based at Seacroft’s Aberdeen head office and will be salaried, but with occasional requirement for out-of-hours/offshore work subject to additional benefits. Ad Hoc roles can be home based for desktop work, mobilising to/through UK ports as required.
