Seacroft Marine Consultants Limited is recruiting to support its expanding business and is seeking a full-time Marine Projects Manager. Candidates will hold a Master Mariner, Chief Engineer, ETO Certificate of Competency, or other relevant qualifications and experience of offshore marine operations in a senior role.
Candidates will have an extensive knowledge of offshore energy regulations, guidelines and good practice and have at least 5 years of marine experience in offshore renewables and oil and gas. A strong managerial or consultancy background in Dynamic Positioning Operations or Marine Warranty Surveying is required. Candidates with IMCA DP Practitioner or SOMWS Accreditation, or those who meet the criteria to achieve this, are essential. Offshore vessel inspection, auditing and marine assurance experience would be advantageous.
The role will be a full-time onshore hybrid position with occasional offshore and overseas work. Candidates will ideally be in NE Scotland, NE or East of England, operating from our Aberdeen, Blyth or Lowestoft offices with flexible home working. The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of marine projects, including DP assurance, marine warranty, W2W operations and general marine consultancy tasks, including project management and supervision, vessel inspections, auditing, incident investigation and supporting and advising offshore energy companies and vessel operators with marine procedures, assessments, risk and safety related matters.
